My Night Time Skincare Routine | Beauty

I have always had a problem with my skin. It's very sensitive and very dry therefore I'm always looking out for the products that suit my skin type just to keep it under control. My skin tends to break out whenever I try any new skincare products on my face, just recently I had an allergic reaction to a new Nivea Cream I bought which made my face swell up and rash all over, it sucked! I have changed my night time skincare routine recently and so far I have been loving it.

Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter - When starting my night time routine, I always take my make up off first. I use the body shop's Camomile Cleansing Butter which is a balm you massage onto your face and it removes make up instantly. I massage this all over my face, even eyes, to remove my make up then I wipe it off with a hot cloth. The camomile in this product makes your skin feel so soft.

Micellar Cleansing Water - I like to go in with a cotton pad and Garnier's Micellar Water just to take off any of that excess makeup that may still be lurking around on my skin. This cleansing water lifts away dirt from the skin and you don't have to rinse it off afterwards.

Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash - I then like to use a facial wash, to help get rid of any dirt and to make my face feel clean and refreshed. My must have facial wash for me is the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Facial Wash. I heard so many mixed reviews about this facial wash but for me it's been fine. The smell is absolutely amazing (one of the main reasons as to why I love this). I would say that the only downside to this product is that it does have a tendency to dry your skin out a lot, therefore you may need to have a really good moisturizer on hand.

Simply Pure Refreshing Toner - This toner is so cheap yet does the job perfectly. It's extremely gentle on the skin which is perfect for someone who has sensitive skin. It uses Soothex which is meant to calm the skin. I find that this helps tone and refresh my skin really well.

Derma V10 Cocoa Lotion - I use a lotion for my face rather than a moisturizer, the reason being is because this cocoa butter lotion is AMAZING for really moisturizing your skin. You can use it anywhere on your body, but I prefer using it on my face. It's so cheap but perfectly smooths and re hydrates your skin.

Vasaline Original - Last but not least, I then apply Vasaline Original onto my lips before I go to sleep so that they don't crack over-night, waking up with soft lips.

Benefit Cosmetics Wishlist | Beauty

I am a huge fan of Benefit make up products, I love their quirky packaging as well as the quality of the products and how well they do the job. I've come up with a Benefit Cosmetics Wishlist which include 6 of their products that I am wanting to try out. Benefit is one of those brands that I don't buy often because it is very pricey, but it's a treat.

Recently I've really been into filling in my brows, I like a full brow yet natural look. Gimmie Brow by Benefit is something I really want to try out. It's a brow-volumising fiber gel which makes your brows look more fuller and natural.

I have heard so many good reviews about this product. I have very dark circles underneath my eyes so I tend to go for the concealers that have the most coverage. This concealer is said to cover dark circles, discoloration and imperfections.

This beautiful peach shade is gorgeous for the upcoming summer season, which is why this is a must have for me this year. This product is supposed to glide on your lips smoothly and leave a beautiful peach colour. I want this lipgloss for an everyday use on those bright summer days.

The first time I tried this product was when I was at a Benefit counter in Boots and the lady did me a complete makeover. She used this Rockateur Cheek Powder on my face and it looked amazing. It gives off such a beautiful rose gold colour to your cheeks and leaves your skin looking healthy and glowy.

If I'm completely honest, I have never used a highlighter before. I've seen how much of a difference it can make to your skin, it gives you a wonderful healthy glow and makes your skin look flawless. I want to invest in this product because I would love to see how it makes my skin look, I think it'd be a perfect product to use all around summer time.

Like I said, I tend to get really dark circles underneath my eyes. I have tried a few Benefit's skin care products and I loved them, but I've never tried there eye cream. This is supposed to fade dark circles and help smooth fine lines for brighter, younger looking eyes.

April Favourites 2014

Another month done and dusted which means another blog post full of my favourites!
I cannot believe how quickly this year is going, it's crazy. I have another favourites post for you guys today, showing you all what I have been loving this past month.

Cath Kidston Notebook - This has been well and truly loved by me throughout April. I went through a phase where I was being very unorganized with everything and I needed to stop quickly and change that around. I purchased this beauty at the Cath Kidston store in Brighton and I've been using it near enough everyday to write down all my little lists of things that I have to get done. I love the floral design of this notebook and I love the inside of this as well, as every page has a different pattern and ugh it's just wonderful.

Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon - I have used this lip crayon to death. It has been my daily lipstick throughout April as it's such a beautiful coral colour which is perfect for the spring/summer season. It's so moisturizing on the lips and keeps it's colour for hours. Read my review on this product here.

LOreal Rouge Caresse Lipstick  - Another lip product which has been perfect for me throughout April is LOreal's Caresse Lipstick, I have got this in the colour Nude Inguene and I feel like it's the perfect colour for a suttle everyday look. Moisturizing and gives you a lovely colour for hours.

Benefit Big Easy Multi-Balancing Complextion Perfector - A higher end BB cream which I've been loving recently. I love using this for the days where I don't need much coverage. It has a liquid to powder finish which gives you a lovely matte complexion and it feels so light on your skin that it's perfect for those hot days. Read my review on this product here.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation - Yet another Bourjois product which I absolutely adore. I have very dry skin and this foundation leaves me feeling hydrated all day and gives my skin a flawless glow finish. I heard a few bad reviews about this product therefore I was very scared to try it out, but everything has worked wonderfully for me and it's now a favourite foundation of mine.

The Body Shop Mango Shower Gel - My favourite body product this month has been the amazing mango shower gel by The Body Shop. This is my second bottle of it and I'm going to keep re-purchasing this over and over again. I literally can't get enough of this stuff. The smell is so sensational and fruity leaving your body feeling soft and smelling good. If you haven't tried this - I SERIOUSLY think you should.

The Body Shop Banana Shampoo and Conditioner | Review

If you know me, then you'd know that I love Bananas. It's my favourite fruit ever and I am truly obsessed with them. I picked up The Body Shop Banana Shampoo and Banana Conditioner for only £4.50 each. Talk about bargain! These products have been out for a while I believe and I've been meaning to try them both out. When my recent trip to The Body Shop came, I just had to purchase them.

Firstly, these products smell amazing, although the smell doesn't last very long on your hair afterwards which is so disappointing as it's such an incredible scent. I felt like this did a really good job at cleaning my hair as it left it feeling soft and smooth. It also made my hair look a lot less frizzy after I blow-dried it which was a plus. When washing your hair, it creates a massive lather which feels like heaven when massaging through your roots.

It claims that this is a tangle-free formula but I don't find it different to any other shampoo's and conditioners if I'm honest, apart from the fact that it has such a lovely smell. I defiantly would re-purchase these products mainly because I love the smell, and because it keeps my frizzy hair away. I do also really recommend trying this product out for those with frizz problems, as it may help you like it helped me!
