I have three shades of the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms to show you. These matte balms were launched alongside of the famous Revlon Lacquer Balms which I personally really liked. I didn't buy the matte balms when they first came out because I wasn't a big fan of matte lipsticks, my lips get dry very quickly therefore I thought these range of lipsticks wouldn't work on me but I was so wrong.

Starting from top to bottom, I have the shades Sultry which is a gorgeous brown-pink toned nude, very similar to the famous Kylie Jenner lip however a bit more pink toned. Elusive which is a cool toned pink that is perfect for an everyday lip colour. Striking is a much more bold colour. It's a beautiful red shade that suits most skin tones.

As I said, I'm not really a big fan of matte lipsticks however these are not completely matte. They have a gorgeous velvety and balm like feel to them once applied keeping the lips moisturized. The colour glides onto my lips easily and I like how the lipstick is pointed which makes it easier to get a neat, straight outline of the lips. Each colour is very pigmented and you do not need to use a lot of it, just one coat of lipstick would do the trick for me. I found that if you keep applying coat after coat your lips tend to look a bit cakey. The lasting power of these products are good, they have managed to last me around 5 hours until I need a new touch up. These lipsticks are perfect for those who enjoy matte finishes and they have a great selection of colours that will suit every skin tone.

I saw this product when browsing through the hair care section in Superdrug. It was on offer plus I have never tried any of the Fat Hair range before, I have seen and read quite a few reviews on some of their products and have heard many good things about it so I thought I might as well try it out.

Fat Hair had a variety of different styling products, however this one product caught my eye the most. This Amplifying Mist is designed for fine, limp hair as it helps transform into thicker, fuller and stronger hair. It includes an advance repair formula which includes a blend of protein, extract, inositol and taurine which helps to volumize and repair damaged hair. It also includes Avocado which provides moisture and shine to help give your hair a much healthier looking appearance. Once I've washed my hair, I like to spray this evenly throughout my hair and then comb through with my Aqua Splash Tangle Teezer making sure every hair strand is coated. I then let my hair air dry for the rest of the day (or you could blow dry it. Do whatever suits you). I feel like using this has made a big difference in the way my hair feels and looks, it's a lot more shiner making my hair look very healthy and it also feels so soft due to the Avocado that's inside. My fine, dull hair looks a lot more thicker and textured once dry - I have also been finding it easier to manage. This product doesn't seem to way my hair down at all however I have found that if I use a bit too much of it on my roots, it can make my hair become more greasy quicker so I try not to go over board with the product. I have been using this product after every hair wash so far and I do love it, I recommend it for anyone who has fine hair. I defiantly would love to try out more of their hair care products and I just might have to take another trip to Superdrug soon.

I like to re-organise my wardrobe at least twice a year. I'm one of those people that tend to hoard my clothes even if I don't wear them anymore, therefore I like finding some time to myself where I can spend the day clearing everything out and making sure my wardrobe is up to date. I know some people don't know where to start when it comes down to clearing your wardrobe out so I've got a few helpful tips to make your wardrobe organization a bit more easier and less stressful.

Step one: Wear something comfortable

I usually get changed into a comfortable pair of joggers and a plain baggy t-shirt. I also like to tie my hair back so it doesn't get in the way. Wearing something comfortable really does make a difference and it gets me in the mood to clean.

Step two: Take everything out of your wardrobe

The first thing I like to do is to take every single piece of clothing out of my wardrobe and drawers. You'll be able to see how much space you now how for storing clothes once they go back in. As I take my clothes out of the wardrobe, I just simply chuck everything onto my bed in a big pile.

Step three: Sort each item into piles

I like to go through each item of clothing and sort them into 4 piles.
Keep - Clothes that you wear often, items that are in good condition and still fit you
Store - Item of clothing that are out of season but you will wear when that season comes round again
Charity - Clothes that are in good condition but you don't wear anymore/don't fit you
Bin - Clothes that are genuinely no good to wear. Items that are stained, torn and have holes in them should go in this pile

If you're finding it difficult to choose which items you should keep or donate to charity then a little tip is to try the clothes on and ask yourself if you'd wear it again within the next month or so. If you're still stuck then try getting someone else's opinion like your mum or a friend to help you decide.

Step four: Deal with the piles

Once your clothes are sorted into different piles, make sure to take action and think about what you're going to do with them next.
Keep - Leave the keep pile in the same place as you will be putting these back into your wardrobe.
Store - Make sure to think about where you're going to put all your out of season clothes that you have decided to store. Maybe put these items in a separate drawer until the appropriate season comes around.
Charity - Bag up the items and think about where you want to donate them to. This could include a range of different charity shops or just one. Work out when you're going to visit the charity shops (write down a day in your diary to do this).
Bin - Throw all the unwearable clothes in a rubbish bag and simply throw them out.

Step five: Clean the inside of your wardrobe

Now you're ready to start putting the items back into your wardrobe and drawers, however before I do that, I like to give my wardrobe a good clean with some cleaning spray and a cloth. Clean down the sides of your wardrobe and drawers and make sure to get right into the corners. It'll be very dusty but it makes everything feel better once it's clean.

Step six: Return the clothes to your wardrobe

Everyone has a different way of organising things. Some people colour code their items and some people like to put the same items together which is what I like to do. Sort your wardrobe out however you'd like. I personally like to keep my dresses together, my jumpers together, casual t-shirts, going out tops, jeans, leggings etc. This way it's easier for me to find exactly what I want to wear for that day instead of opening a messy wardrobe and thinking 'I have nothing to wear'. Hopefully now you should have a much more organised, clean wardrobe and more space to put new items of clothing in.

My everyday makeup routine has pretty much stayed the same for a few months now. I only tend to change it for special occasions or nights out. I thought it would be fun to share what makeup I reach out for on an everyday basis.

Primer: I always like using a primer before I apply anything as it creates a smooth, pore less base for when I do apply my foundation. I like using Rimmel's Lasting Finish primer which has quite a thick consistency to it, but manages to absorb into my skin pretty quickly. It also helps to make my foundation last throughout the whole day.

Foundation: I do like to mix my foundation up every so often, however the one I have been reaching towards is the Rimmel Lasting Finish foundation in the shade 100 Ivory (the medium coverage). I have the full coverage version of this foundation but I find it to be too cakey for an everyday look, however the medium coverage gives off a good amount and doesn't look too full on.

Concealer: My go-to all time favourite concealer is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in the shade cool medium. I pop a bit of this underneath my eyes and I like to blend it in with my fingers. It helps to cover up my dark circles and really brightens my under eye area.

Powder: I much prefer using loose powers rather than pressed powders as I find that they last a lot longer and loose powders manage to keep my skin matte throughout the whole day without any touch ups. Collection's Sheer Loose Powder works perfect for my skin and helps take any unwanted shine away from my face. I like applying this with my Real Techniques Powder Brush all over my face.

Bronzer: I like to to contour my cheeks on a daily basis as I feel it gives my face a bit more definition. Benefit's Hoola Bronzer is my favourite bronzer when it comes to contouring as it's the perfect colour for my skin tone and doesn't look muddy in the slightest. I like using my Real Techniques Contouring brush to get a good contour line and then I like to blend that out using the Real Techniques Buffing Brush.

Blusher: I'm not a big fan when it comes to blusher, my cheeks naturally flush sometimes so some colours can look too over-powering on me. My Rimmel blush in the shade Soft Rose is a very subtle pink shade that doesn't give off too much pigment. It's just a nice pop of colour.

Eyebrows: I like to shape and fill in my eyebrows with a powdered eye shadow in my Julian McDonald Star palette using the brown shade. Once I'm happy with the shape of them, I then like to set them in place with my Rimmel Brow this Way in the shade Dark Brown. This helps my brow hairs to stay in place throughout the day.

Eye Shadow: I tend to keep my everyday eye shadow pretty simple. I start off by applying Maybelline Colour Tattoo in the shade On and On Bronze all over my lid, I like to apply it with my fingers and then blend it out with a blending brush so there's not harsh lines. I go in with my Naked 2 Pallette and pop the colour Tease in my crease and then blend everything together. I like to take a bit of Tease just under my eye to smoke the look out a bit. Using my Naked 2 Pallette again, I then take the shade Foxy and put that on my brow bone for a matte highlight.

Eye Liner: Using 17's Gel Liner on a fine liner brush, I draw on a very thin line on my top lash line and then I like to wing it out at the corners. This gel liner stays put throughout the whole day and is very pigmented.

Mascara: Firstly, I like to curl my lashes and then I like to use Rimmel's Wonder'Full Mascara which is my favourite to use on an everyday basis. It makes my lashes look so voluminous yet so natural looking. It really does a good job in separating my lashes and also keeps them in good condition due to the Argan Oil infused in this mascara. I like using this on my top and my bottoms lashes to complete my eye look.

Lipstick: My everyday lipstick colour is Revlon's Matte Balm in the shade Sultry. It's a gorgeous mauve, pink shade. It's a very close colour to the famous Kylie Jenner lip. Even though it's a matte finish, it still manages to keep my lips very moisturized.

With Valentines Day just around the corner I thought it would be a good idea to share some outfit ideas for the special day. If you're stuck or still deciding what to wear on the day then hopefully this will give you some ideas and you can happily mix and match different items to suit your style best.

This very simple yet gorgeous dress would look beautiful paired with either black or skin coloured tights (whatever you'd prefer). I tried to stick with a red, black and gold colour themed here as I think it looks so beautiful once all the colours are tied together. I am in love with the black quilted clutch bag as it's so simple yet manages to complete the whole outfit and the gold embellishment goes perfectly with the theme.

I saw this gorgeous pale pink dress on the River Island website and thought it would look lovely paired with some pink heels and gold toned accessories. I've paired this look up with a cute gold head band which I think would look lovely when the hair is styled into a ponytail or on long wavy hair. I also added a gold chain necklace with beautiful white detailing to make the outfit pop.

Lace Peplum Cami  - £25.00
Semi Precious Cuff - £12.50
As my last two outfits were both dressy, I thought I would throw in an outfit that's casual yet dressy at the same time. These items all from Topshop make a perfect date-night outfit that's so simple, anyone could wear it. I've stuck to the black and white theme and threw in a gold bracelet to glam everything up. I think heels work really well with trousers as it looks so elegant. If you're looking for a more casual outfit to wear on Valentines Day then this idea is a great one for you.

(Tangle Teezer Aqua Splash - £13.99)
Tangle Teezer Aqua Splash has become one of my favourite brushes to use. I have a very bad habit of brushing my hair with a paddle brush when it's wet which I know can be very damaging as the hair is weaker when it's wet therefore making it more prone to break-age. When I saw that Tangle Teezer have a brush which I specifically made for wet hair, I had to give it a go. I like using this brush when applying conditioner or a hair treatment as it evenly distributes the product throughout my hair making sure every single strand is covered nicely. I also like using this before on damp towel dried hair to help get rid of any knots that could've been made whilst washing it. The Tangle Teezer Aqua Splash retails for £13.99 in Boots which may seem a little pricey for a brush but it's a good investment if your hair tends to get knotty a lot and it's completely worth the money.

I feel like my hair has improved so much since using this product. My hair seems to look a lot shiner and healthier and the bristles are so gentle on my hair that I feel as if it doesn't tug or pull on my strands making it feel less damaging to any other brush. The size and shape of the brush is very chunky and rounded making it easy to hold. I have used this product on my dry hair however I feel as if it pulls and doesn't de-tangle it as well so I will be sticking to using this on wet hair.

I have rounded up my top 5 most used beauty products which I generally use on a daily basis. It was quite hard for me to pick out just 5 as I have so many products which I use and love, that I just wanted to share them all with you. However, these five products are the ones that I use every single day as part of my everyday make-up routine.

Rimmel Wonderful Mascara - I did a whole blog post about this mascara when I first bought it, and I am still loving it. It's a good mascara to use for everyday make-up because it has a very natural finish to it. It manages to separate each and every one of my lashes whilst giving them a good amount of volume and curl at the same time. You can happily build this product up to your desired taste, however I prefer to use just two coats.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Primer - A primer is always a good idea if you want your foundation to last throughout the day. This primer is a lightweight formula that helps to minimise the appearance of pores and it helps to even your skin tone. It preps my skin leaving a silky smooth base to put my foundation and concealer on over the top. I use the Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation also therefore my make-up stays on near enough all day.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer - This bronzer gives me a nice warm looking complexion on those days where my skin looks dull. I love using this bronzer to contour my face or for when I need a bit more warmth to my skin. It comes with a little brush that is perfect for contouring and sculpting your cheek bones. It's not too dark but it's not too light either therefore it suits every skin tone and type.

Maybelline 24 Hour Colour Tattoo - I did a blog post on these colour tattoos, however this shade in particular is my favourite. On and On Bronze is a gorgeous gold toned brown that really makes my eyes pop. It makes a perfect base for if you want to put eye shadow over the top or it makes a gorgeous shade on it's own. I usually apply this using my fingers then simply blend it in with a fluffy brush so it's not as harsh. No need to use an eye primer before hand as this product stays on for ages and doesn't crease.

Revlon Colourburst Matte Balm - I think I have found my perfect everyday lipstick colour. The shade I use is Sultry which is a brown/pink shade and it's very close to the Kylie Jenner lip but slightly more pink. It's a matte balm however I am so surprised at how moisturising it is on my lips, it's very creamy but manages to stay on my lips for ages. Touch ups are needed after a few hours but I personally don't mind. I defiantly want to buy more shades.

(May contain some spoilers)
Tayna Burr is best known for her Fashion and Beauty YouTube Channel which she started off in 2009. She has worked hard and has become very successful over the years. She has released her very own Tayna Burr Cosmetics brand which consists of lip glosses and nail varnish, as well as her fairly new release of false eyelashes. She announced last year on her vlog channel that she was currently working on a book which was then released on January 29th 2015 and so far, it's been a big hit!

I purchased the book from Waterstones the day after it was released for £9.99 and I managed to complete the whole book within just a few days, I loved it that much. The book has a total of 303 pages and within those pages Tayna talks about a whole lot of different subjects. She talks a little bit about growing up which is where we get to know a little more about her friends and family outside of the YouTube community and she also talks more into detail about meeting Jim (her fiancĂ©e). In some of the other chapters, Tayna talks about Skincare Essentials where it goes into detail about how to generally take care of your skin. She also goes over the different skin types and talks about her top 10 skincare products. Her make-up chapter is all about different make-up brushes and how to use them, how to apply your make-up properly and she also lists some of her favourite make-up products. There's a section about hair and nails where we learn loads of different hair styles and how to do a home styled manicure for yourself. This book continues to deliver many different chapters such as fashion, love, baking and recipes, YouTube and confidence and happiness which is one of my favourite chapters - this chapter is where Tayna goes a lot more in depth about her Anxiety and she lists ways of dealing with Anxiety and also lists how to feel more confident about yourself. I love how this book is so different to any other book I've read as it focuses on many different topics, I also noticed that after every chapter there's a notes page where it tells you to list down a few things such as: list your funniest or most embarrassing moments, list the top ten items in your make-up bag, list the things to make yourself feel better when you're feeling down and so on. Therefore this book is also a bit interactive which I personally really enjoyed. I'm not a big reader myself however I loved this book so much and I just couldn't seem to put it down.

All in all, I really enjoyed this read and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in beauty and fashion. I think Tayna Burr did an amazing job!

Today is one of those days where I feel like sitting back and doing a tag blog post. Tags are probably one of my favourite blog post's to read as I feel like you get to know a bit more about the person. I haven't done a tag post in a while and I kind of miss just sitting down and answering a few random questions. I searched the internet and found The Beauty Scenario Tag which looked like a lot of fun and thought I'd give it a go myself.

1. You have to get rid of all your foundations and you can only keep one high end and one drugstore, which do you keep?
I don't particularly own many high end foundations as I tend to lean towards drugstore foundations more. I don't know whether this would count as a foundation but for my high end, I would keep Benefit's Big Easy multi-balancing complexion perfector. It's my go-to foundation whenever I want a medium coverage and it's a liquid to powder finish so there's no need to use compressed or loose powder to set it. For my drugstore foundation I'd keep Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 hour Foundation, which is my everyday foundation that I have been using recently. It manages to stay put all day and it's defiantly a miracle worker for when I have my breakout days due to it's full coverage.

2. You go for an interview and the lady interviewing you has lipstick on her teeth. Do you approach the subject or ignore it completely?
I recon I'd completely ignore it. Especially if I'm being interviewed, I wouldn't want to embarrass the women.

3. You’re not feeling yourself and need a pick me up. Which lipstick do you put on to make yourself feel beautiful?
This would have to be my Revlon Colour Burst Matte Balm in the colour Striking. It's a beautiful pink toned red that I feel compliments my skin tone really well. It gives a bit of colour to my face and makes me feel more confident.

4. You go back in time for a day to your teenage years, how would you do your hair and makeup differently?
Make up wise - I'd invest in a good quality foundation brush and a liquid foundation. I used to use the Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation which really dried out my skin but at the time I obviously didn't have a clue. I also applied foundation with my fingers which isn't a bad thing at all but I personally prefer to apply my foundation with a brush now. It's a lot less messy and it applies more evenly. I think I would also pay a bit more attention to my eyebrows, I was never fussed about my eyebrows back then but they really do matter! Hair wise - I used to straighten my hair every single day, and I also used to blow dry after every wash. I'd go back and not use heat on my hair as often, it would make such a big difference to the condition of my hair.

5. You ask your hairdresser for a shoulder length Pixie Lott hair cut, but they hear wrong and give you a pixi cut. Do you a) Smile, say thank you, leave and call your mum hysterical b) Cry in the chair and things get awkward or c) Complain to the manager and demand a refund.
I would defiantly cry for a bit and then I'd complain to the manager. The thought of this happening makes me so sad. I'm obsessed with my hair and I hate going to the hairdressers anyway, my Auntie (who used to be a hairdresser) is the only person I let do anything to my hair as sad as it sounds haha!

6. Your friend surprises you with a 4 day city break and you have 1 hour to pack. Which ‘do it all’ palette do you pack in your makeup bag?
For my eyes, I'd take my Naked 2 palette as I've been using it near enough every single day. You can create so many looks for each day, defiantly a must have.

7. Your house has been robbed, don’t worry everyone is safe, but your beauty stash has been raided. What’s the product you really hope is safe?
I'd hope none of it is missing! I honestly have to say my Naked 2 palette again. I just love it that much. I would really hope my Rimmel Wonderful Mascara is safe also as that's my go-to everyday mascara which makes my eyelashes look very long yet natural.

8. Your friend borrows your makeup and returns it in awful condition. Do you a) Just pretend you haven’t noticed b) Ask them to repurchase it or c) Secretly do the same to something of theirs
I'd probably confront them about it but I wouldn't ask them to re-purchase it. I'd be quite angry if it was something that was very expensive but if it was something like a cheap eye shadow then I'd probably just pretend that I haven't noticed.

Every time I'm in my local town doing a bit of shopping, I can't help but buy myself a new lipstick. I love wearing lipsticks and I have a ton of different colours. I feel like lipsticks can really change a makeup look and you can use a different range of colours to suit each type of skin tone. My personal favourite lipstick recently has been Rimmel London Lasting Finish Kate Moss Lipstick in the shade 30.

It's a beautiful deep purple shade with a slightly pink undertone to it. Perfect for any night out or special occasions, however I have been wearing this lipstick in the day time also. I used to be scared about wearing bold colours on my lips as I mostly stuck to the light pinks or nude shades, however I feel as if a bold lip can look amazing paired with very little eye makeup. A nice daytime eye makeup will make the bold lip stand out and look pretty. However if you're wanting to go for a night time look, then I'd pair this colour with a dark brown smokey eye which will make the look seem a lot more dramatic. The finish of this lipstick I would say is a semi-matte with a bit of shine to it. It has a very creamy formula therefore glides onto the lips without feeling dry. I feel as if this lipstick leaves my lips feeling well moisturised and it defiantly stays well put for a few hours, I do feel as if it needs some touch ups throughout the day though as it can tend to smudge around the edges if no lip liner is used. I would suggest to use a lip scrub before you apply this lipstick especially for those of you who suffer with dry lips like myself. My lips can get a bit flaky and cracked after a while and without using a lip scrub beforehand, my dry lips showed up pretty well whilst wearing this (never a good look). It would make application a lot easier if you moisturise your lips before hand, it'll also make the lipstick last a lot longer. Overall, I adore this product and I will defiantly purchase different colours from this range as I think they're so affordable and they're all great quality for a drugstore lip product.
