I have a little obsession with highlighters at the moment. Now that it's coming up to summer and the weather is getting a lot warmer, I do like to start bringing the highlighters out. I recently picked up Benefit Watt's Up! Highlighter and I have not stopped using it since.

It's a very creamy, sheer product that seems to blend wonderfully on my skin. It's a gorgeous champagne colour which works well with every skin tone. It's a cream to powder finish which is what I like most about this product because it doesn't stay wet or sticky on the skin, instead it finishes into a smooth creamy powder. I've had issues with some cream/liquid highlighters as I have found as few of them don't blend on my face that well however this product blends out so perfectly and doesn't leave any harsh lines showing. The product is double ended and comes with a sponge application which is supposed to help blend the product out, however I find it much better if I just simply blend the product out with my fingers. The sponge is really good and does do the trick however I just seem to prefer using my fingers more. This product can be applied on its own, under your makeup or over your makeup. It's really your choice in how you want to use this!

I think I may have found my new favourite liquid lipsticks. I'm not a huge fan of the whole 'matte finish' lipsticks however I was instantly drawn to these liquid lipsticks after hearing a lot of good reviews about them. The lipsticks claim to have a soft matte velvet finish without making your lips feel dry. They also claim to have a 24 hour lasting power which is the thing that caught my eye first about this product.

The lipsticks come in 6 different shades which consists of 2 nudes, 2 pinks and 2 reds. They're all very bold shades so these products are probably not for the brave lipstick wearers however the nude shades are two fantastic everyday colours. I picked up the shade 07 Nudist which is a gorgeous mauve nude colour, almost like a Kylie Jenner lip but with a slightly more pinky tone to it. The product itself is very lightweight when applied to the lips and it almost feels very watery however it still manages to be very pigmented which I like. I really like the little foam applicator as it helps to apply the lipstick easily and quickly. The only thing that puts me off about this particular product is the smell, however that soon fades away once the product dries. The product does set to a matte finish however it doesn't dry out your lips, once the product is completely dry you're still able to feel a bit of moisture on the lips whenever you rub them together - if you do have extremely dry lips then I would recommend to exfoliate and use a lip balm beforehand because this lipstick tends to cling to dry patches.

I'm not too sure on the 24 hour lasting power as I had to re-touch my lips after about 5 hours of wearing the lipstick. The product started to slide off my lower lip more than my top lip. Although the product is pretty easy to smudge and transfer on things, it manages to leave a nice stain on my lips that tends to only come off when using makeup remover. Overall, I do like using this liquid lipstick as I love the pigmentation and the feel of it on my lips. I definitely would like to collect these in a few more shades.
